TOP SHOTS DOWN TO THE WIRE AT EAST GRINSTEAD
The top positions in East Grinstead Target Shooting Club's Spring Open Dewar were closely fought by some 40 shooters and 10 clubs from around the Home Counties over the weekend at East Court. Shooting at 50 metres and 100 yards in fine but cool and blustery conditions three shooters in 'A' Class finished with identical scores of 779 ex 800 and were only separated using count back for highest scores in the final rounds. It was Peter Terry of Fittleworth who got home on the range to win the Felbridge Bowl, plus the Veterans Cup, with Linda Smallbone of Eastbourne in second place and Andy Meyers of East Grinstead in third. David White of East Grinstead won the Class B Grand Aggregate and Samantha Kettle won Class D. East Grinstead won the Team of Three competition as well as the Open Pairs and Class C& D pairs.
