Richard Wilson (Shanklin R&PC) managed to master the conditions and won Class A with a respectable score of 588 ex 600. Saturday's conditions were light cloud with little wind. Sunday followed with variable sun/cloud and warmer temperatures.

Eight members of the East Grinstead Target Shooting Club took part in the 2018 National Small-bore Championships at Bisley between 11 and 17 August, and produced some excellent results in tricky wind and light conditions, plus a major downpour.

Congratulations to Tim and Jazz for winning their respective Classes! Marie also had an excellent score, both her and Jazz being in their first competitive FB shoot.
Despite the forecast the weather was fine with grey skies and light wind. Ideal for shooting but not for the actual scores which remained steady with only one person shooting above their average.

Fifty One shooters from some 10 clubs in the Home Counties enjoyed excellent weather over the weekend at the East Grinstead Target Shooting Club’s Spring Open Meeting.

Breathing. We all do it without thinking but doing it correctly as far as shooting is concerned takes practice. A very useful discussion was had on this topic.
February has been a busy month with many members having qualified for the later rounds of the Eastbourne and Sussex Cup competitions. Last date for shooting many of these competitions was 5th March so the results will be filtering through shortly. Good luck to you all.
